Ubena is aimed at kitchen professionals in the hotel, restaurant and communal catering sectors. For many years, the brand has been supplying cooking professionals with high-quality spices and innovative and authentic spice blends that open up new culinary horizons. “The Ubena” was originally a steamship of the East Africa Line, which brought spices from all over the world to Germany via Africa from the end of the 1920s. To this day, its name stands for exceptional spices spices and creative inspirations from all over the world.
With Fuchs Professional and Ubena, we make our customers’ work easier without thereby taking away their room for creativity. For the hotel, restaurant and catering industries, we offer an extensive portfolio of spices from both brands in container formats to suit requirements:

We produce the majority of our packaging ourselves at our location in Schönbrunn – including the sprinkler cans used for our professional brands Ubena and Fuchs Professional.
We continuously work on the development of alternative packaging concepts. Since 2024, for example, we have manufactured the jar bodies for our professional brands from recycled PET (rPET).
