With a total of 18,000 square metres, we will be able to meet the growing demand in Romania and south-eastern Europe and consolidate our market position.
Nils Meyer-Pries, CEO of the Fuchs Gruppe, emphasises: ‘We are focusing on Romania as a strategically important production location for the Fuchs Gruppe’s European retail business. The investment in Curtea de Argeș underlines our long-term intentions and paves the way for further growth in Romania and Southeast Europe. By increasing capacity, Fuchs Condimente Romania will be even better integrated into the Fuchs Gruppe’s operational processes, which will make a significant contribution to our overall success.’
The Fuchs Gruppe invested a total of over eight million euros in the extension, which was completed on schedule after a twelve-month construction phase. The Group is thus strengthening its position as one of the leading suppliers of spices and seasoning solutions.
Representatives of the Fuchs Gruppe from Romania and Germany celebrated the inauguration of the new production building last week together with business partners and international guests.
