We take responsibility for the design of our value chain, and are committed to implementing it according to our own ideas. Our subsidiaries in key countries of origin, together with the long-term partnerships with our suppliers, play a central role in this respect.

Together with our subsidiaries in Brazil and Cambodia, we systematically promote sustainable cultivation methods and communicate important knowledge to local farmers.
Raw materials quality is essential for the quality of the end product, which is why procurement and traceability are central elements in our value creation. Our most important procurement markets are Brazil, China, Cambodia and India.
We control our product quality and carry out almost all the processing steps ourselves, starting with preparation. We procure our raw materials in the roughest possible form, and thus take all the preparation, processing, production and refinement steps into our own hands.
To enable demand-based production that is as “just-in-time” as possible, we have large storage capacities at all our production and filling sites in order to store and deliver both the incoming raw materials and the produced goods.
To preserve valuable constituents such as antioxidants, flavours and oils in the best possible way, we grind and process the raw materials as late as possible and, thanks to extensive filling capacities in six countries worldwide, we can supply customers and markets globally via short, direct routes.
At our sites, we have our own marketing and sales departments, who are familiar with the needs of our local customers and provide them with target group-orientated supplies. Thanks to our international networking, we identify global trends through our own market research departments and our wide-ranging specialist areas.
