We are a team of many specialists across various fields. Our complementary strengths make us not only independent but also a generalist: We develop products as well as customised packaging solutions. In doing so, we create not just real flavour but also genuine added value for our customers.
Our product development follows a multi-stage process, bringing together a wide range of disciplines—from sensory science to marketing, sales, procurement, regulatory services, and production. These teams work hand in hand with the utmost professionalism. This results in not only product innovations for our customers and our own brands, but also continuous improvements and refinements of existing recipes. In fact, good taste is measurable for us—meaning that, in the best sense, it is not a matter of opinion but something verifiable and demonstrable.
In Germany alone, 20 colleagues develop solutions and products of all kinds on a daily basis. Sensory analysis therefore plays a particularly important role in our company, as it is the only way we can ensure successful product development in all business areas. Our sensory experts have both broad and deep knowledge in their fields:
The Sensory Wave provides a standardised sensory description of the aromas of our key spices and herbs. Developed by our experts specifically for our needs, it offers targeted support in developing new products and advising our customers.
Our packaging is designed not only to protect our products but also to safeguard the environment. Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and the preservation of our products is a top priority. This means our packaging must maintain critical quality attributes without compromise. At the same time, we act sustainably and environmentally consciously, ensuring that our packaging also meets the demands of nature. How do we achieve this? Through collaboration—working closely with our suppliers.
Whether spices or dried herbs, we source our raw materials from many countries, depending on their specific climatic requirements. To maintain the highest quality of these valuable, mostly whole raw materials until consumption, we grind them as late as possible. Why? Because this allows us to best preserve essential components such as antioxidants, aromas, and essential oils.
Our spices and dried herbs are processed – ground, blended, refined, and packaged – at our global production sites. From there, they make their way quickly and efficiently into retail or further processing, delivering unforgettable flavour experiences to people around the world.
